Administrative Staff

Our highly-trained, dedicated staff is made up of professionals who put kids and families first every day.  While there are too many of these wonderful staff members to feature here, the follow people make up our management team.

  Executive Director:   John Kinnaird, LCSW


John started his professional career in 1995 as a mental health child care worker at Devereaux Arizona and has been servicing youth in crisis ever since.  He received a Masters in Social Work in 1998 and is currently an L.C.S.W.  John was hired as Executive Director of Reflections for Youth in August of 2013. As Executive Director John uses his experiences to support and develop effective programming that serve our clients and community’s needs.

Clinical Director:  Wendy Gielow, LCSW


Wendy Gielow has been with Reflections For Youth since May 2015. Wendy obtained her Bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and Master’s degree in Social Work from University of Denver. Wendy began her career in mental health as an intensive in-home therapist for children and families at Community Reach Center. After being promoted, she became a Manager of Northglenn Outpatient Services, providing mental health services to all ages. During that time, she was also a Disaster Response Coordinator for the whole agency and worked closely with the Office of Behavioral Health and other Colorado Community Mental Health Centers to improve the Disaster Behavioral Health systems in Colorado. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Wendy is skilled in various modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed care, and providing clinical supervision. She is excited to collaborate with others at Reflections For Youth in the interest of ensuring the best care for the youth and families with which we work.

Permanency Services Director:  Jordan White, LCSW


Jordan has been with Reflections for Youth for since 2011, starting as a School Social Worker and eventually taking over a lead clinical role in the Intensive In-home Program. He received his Bachelors degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas and his Masters degree from Colorado State University. He has over 15 years experience working with adults, youth and families. Jordan is currently in the position of Permanency Services Director as well as an individual and family therapist, overseeing all of the Youth Family Advocates (YFAs) and supporting the greatness in the families he works with. Jordan offers training in the Nurtured Heart Approach and is skilled in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Nurtured Heart.

Special Education Director:  Barb Taylor, Sped. Adm.

Barb Taylor is a renowned Special Education Director in Northern Colorado.  She has been supporting facility schools in the area for more than 10 years.  She has passion for helping those most in need.

Day Treatment Program Director:   Scott Keenan


Scott Keenan is the Day Treatment Program Director for Reflections for Youth Day Treatment programs located in Loveland. He has been working to educate at-risk youth for over a decade, and has been with RFY for six years. His background as a special education teacher provides acute insight on how to run a program that provides creative and effective academic instruction with behavioral supports.

Residential Facility Manager:   Travis Dening


Travis Dening is the Facility Manager at the Reflections residential home for boys. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and has held several different positions during his 6 years with the agency. Travis has been instrumental in developing a strong, positive culture at the Grismore home. He has also excelled in his unwavering support of a staff that works 24/7 in the home.
